Background
As a child I was always aware that there was more to life than what we could sense in the usual ways. There was no support for beliefs such as past life regression, spiritual assistance, and consciousness beyond the ordinary.  There were few ways to get training or information in my middle class suburban lifestyle, yet, at age 16 I was creating astrology charts for everyone who would give me their birth time and date, and playing with tarot cards. After traveling to Europe and experiencing the “summer of ’69” in Boulder, Colorado, I moved to Puerto Rico and immersed myself in the abundant spiritual life of that area—Theosophy, mediums, espiritistas, psychics, curanderos, and other psychic experiences.  I lived there for over four years. This was the beginning of my first-hand exploration of world beliefs and rituals, with the added benefit of learning to speak Spanish.

After returning home, I became a flight attendant to finance my love of travel, met my future husband and started a family. For several years we lived abroad—in the Caribbean and Europe—then settled on an estate in Ohio, where I remained for 13 years. During that time I became aware that it would take more than wealth, travel, and experiences to manifest a fulfilling life. Those experiences have to be deepened and integrated within the psyche and soul. By 1986, I was on my own again. I opened a metaphysical bookstore, and eventually began producing psychic fairs in Ohio and Michigan—at that time not easy places to promote alternative wellness concepts.

My skills and understanding of the “metaphysical” do not come merely from the classroom. For two decades, I have studied with a spiritual teacher  deepening my understanding and applying practical experience with respect to spiritual phenomenon. We studied philosophy, value systems, virtues, mathematics, quantum physics, healing modalities, psychic arts, chakras, dimensional travel and many other kinds of sacred knowledge.

We also had intense hands on experiences with past life regression. We discovered that, in separate research experiences, people were remembering relationships and experiences that they had had with each other in previous lifetimes. Again and again students would reveal memories—and another student, through separate regression work, would share memories that matched that same event or relationship.

After completing my formal hypnosis training from the Ohio Academy of Holistic Healing, I moved to Bellevue, Washington. Having few connections in the Great Northwest, I built my business and community from scratch. In 1998 I joined forces with Kevin Hogan, a gifted presenter, trainer, and author from Minnesota. Together, we presented many trainings and co-authored two books. Through his school I received my status as a Certified Instructor of Hypnotherapy.

In 2000 I met my present husband, Scott—a retired anesthesiologist. I knew we were a great match when I learned of his love of travel and that we had similar books on our shelves! We also joke that we both put people "to sleep" for a living.

I have continued my formal education, obtaining a Masters of Science in Integrative Health Sciences from Open International University, devoted to the preservation and promotion of traditional alternative medicine. I have now completed my doctorate, giving me a Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology.

We are each the sum total of all our experiences, thoughts, desires, and decisions—even when we are unconscious of what they are. I understand from my own experiences that a person can move from feeling unfocused to being fully aware of their purpose and path.

I truly understand that a person is continually manifesting their experience and shaping his or her own soul. My true passion is to see people grow and create a better life for themselves, and to watch my world improve as that happens.

Anyone can learn a better route to achieving their highest goals. I offer Awareness Engineering as a foundation that helps a person to raise their standards and to consciously manifest their desired life path.
