Questions to Ponder - A Journal Project

By Mary Lee LaBay, Ph.D.

Here are some thought-provoking questions that you can ponder while meditating and writing in your journal:

1.      In what way do I let my need for security and stability hold me back in life?

2.      In what way do I let tradition or fear of letting go alter my decisions and the course of my life?

3.      In what way do I use denial or “blanking out” to avoid looking at the truth of an issue?

4.      In what way do I use my moods and emotions to escape a problem or create a buffer from reality?

Based on your answers to the above questions, are there any changes that you need to make in the way that you think, behave, or react?
